Description
Adventure Medical Trauma Tourniquet is engineered for use in the field and allows a rapid means to control extremity bleeding, quickly and easily. This device is an elastic band that is tightly wrapped around a limb (upper or lower), above the wound, to prevent loss of blood from a trauma accident. Tourniquets are used in emergency situations to temporarily control blood flow by squeezing large blood vessels. The squeezing helps stop blood loss. Emergency tourniquets are widely used by the military.
